The Australian Childhood Foundation believes in a world where all children are safe from the trauma of abuse, violence and neglect. We provide specialist trauma counselling and therapeutic care to child victims of abuse, as well as running research, education and community awareness programs.

We are seeking a dynamic manager to head up our Donor Development and Fundraising Department. If you share our passion for children and you are the type of person who just makes things happen, and wants a role where your ideas will truly help take an organisation to the next level in its fundraising growth, then please read on.
In this senior role, reporting to the National Manager, you will bring all your experience in the community and not for profit sector to inspire and engage our donors. You will take charge of donor communication plans that build engaged and long term donor relationships, ensuring we focus on regular donors and major supporters. Your marketing and relationship skills will see you expanding our community fundraiser engagement plan and building our profile where it matters. You’ll develop our work with community fundraiser platforms such as Every Day Hero and Go Fundraise, whilst collaborating with your team to bring out their best.
As a skilled project manager, you know how to get things done. You’ll be savvy and have an eye for detail, which includes understanding return on investment. Your experience in fundraising and donor communications has given you exposure to the latest in digital and direct marketing techniques. Proficient knowledge of Sales Force data base software and additionally knowledge of the CMS website platform WordPress, and a solid working knowledge of Shopify and Campaign Monitor would be advantageous. Of course, you will have a drivers’ license and Working with Children check.
