The Position
With the forthcoming retirement of Ms Sandie de Wolf AM, the Board are seeking an outstanding Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Berry Street into the next chapter of its 140 year history and oversee the delivery of programs and services that provide the best possible outcomes for children and families.
Based in Melbourne and reporting to Berry Street’s Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strategic leadership to ensure that Berry Street maintains its position as a strong and innovative child and family services agency. The CEO will ensure the provision of high quality and effective service delivery, evolve strategic capacity of the organisation and oversee response to policy changes.
You will be an inspiring, visionary and principled leader, with a commitment to the values and ethos of Berry Street. As a highly action orientated individual, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically and pragmatically, you will offer a track record of successful executive leadership. You will be proactive and adaptive, with demonstrable capability to shape best practice service delivery, assess emerging trends and leverage opportunities. Exceptional advocacy, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills to drive industry change are essential. Tertiary qualifications preferred.
