At People for Purpose, our mission is to enhance the capability and performance of the for-purpose sector. We are looking to extend our team of innovative, passionate and down to earth professionals to help us achieve this. We are a social purpose business providing executive search and placement, leadership and governance advisory services.

Combining our expertise in the for-purpose sector with our broader commercial experience, we have fast become a driving force in delivering exceptional results for our growing client base and you will be playing a crucial role in expanding our recruitment service business.

Due to expansion, we are looking for a senior recruitment consultant to manage the end to end recruitment process for a range of executive, senior executive and board positions and complex recruitment assignments. You will be responsible for engaging and developing existing relationships with clients and contacts; build successful relationships and work with a broad range of executive candidates as well as preparing proposals, business plans, position descriptions and advertisements. You will also contribute to and actively participate in the broad business operations to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.

You will be a self-starter and “big-thinker”, capable of working independently and as part of a team; have impeccable communication skills and enjoy both verbal and written interaction with people. You will also be an agile and methodical worker with a focus on positive long term outcomes and have a demonstrated understanding of the complexities of the for-purpose environment in which we operate. Your entrepreneurial spirit will be balanced with a warm engaging personality and you take pride in the depth of your client care. You will have extensive knowledge and experience working in the for-purpose sector or have a preparedness to understand and engage in the sector.

A background in the not-for- profit sector would be an advantage, although not essential, however you will need to demonstrate / articulate your depth of experience in a broad range of senior executive recruitment roles in either the for purpose or commercial sector. You will have an ethical approach to success and importantly, your values will be closely aligned to those of People for Purpose and the organisations we support.

This role is either fulltime or minimum 4 days per week, based in Sydney CBD.
