Sunbury Community Health is a not for profit, community owned organisation serving Sunbury and surrounding areas. With more than 250 staff and volunteers, the Centre provides a diverse range of health and community services within a social model of health including; counselling, early childhood education, family day care, planned activity groups, dentistry, adult and childhood allied health and support services, health promotion initiatives, community and residential aged care.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager Culture and Client Experience, you will head up the People and Culture unit. You will be joining the organisation after a significant restructure designed to meet and exceed the objectives of the new organisational strategy. You’ll be passionate about creating, fostering and modelling a values based culture. You will understand the importance of staff inclusion and engagement through significant periods of change and will contribute to organisational projects to ensure our people thrive.

The position provides operational management and leadership for all things people including recruitment, orientation, staff wellbeing, payroll, performance development, students, Workcover, and issue resolution. You will lead and develop a small team and provide authoritative advice, coaching and mentorship on people and culture issues to the leadership group across the organisation.

You will be a motivated and experienced individual who is excited about the contribution you can make to a true values based workforce and ultimately supporting strong social fabric across the organisation and community.
