The role

A key role in refining and driving the Red Cross International Programs income diversification strategy. The role supports the International Department to grow and diversify the income base and build capacity within the team to engage in new business and financing opportunities.

The role will involve significant collaboration across the Australian Red Cross as well as with external stakeholders to influence and secure new funding streams for international work. It will require the development of new institutional relationships with private sector and institutional donors to grow income from institutional and corporate resources, particularly in emerging areas of humanitarian finance.

About you

Evident in your application will be your experience in project design for international development and humanitarian work, ability to develop new funding models and approaches, capability i n influencing senior decision makers and skill in forming strategic business partnerships and networks.

You will have practical, field-based experience and/or a strong understanding of the contribution of business and innovative partnerships to humanitarian work.
