About the organisation
The Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) is the voice for Australia’s oceans. We lead the way in seafood sustainability through our cutting edge fisheries campaigns and the production of Australia’s Sustainable Seafood Guide, the nation’s independent guide to choosing seafood wisely. This is an exciting opportunity to broaden our impact by rolling out the Good Fish Project around Australia.
About the role
Use your communications and ‘foodie’ skills to make a real difference to our oceans by coordinating our sustainable seafood restaurant outreach program, the Good Fish Project.
Are you passionate about food, sustainability and the future of our oceans? Can you market a great idea to a busy world? Could you reach out to restaurants and chefs around the country, and help them make the change to sustainable seafood? If you straddle the worlds of food and sustainability, relish the challenge of implementing an innovative nation-wide program, love talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment then this is the job for you.
Purpose of position:
AMCS is leading the sustainable seafood movement through our fisheries campaigns and Australia’s Sustainable Seafood Guide. We aim to drive change within the restaurant and seafood supply chain to make all of our fisheries truly sustainable and create healthy oceans.
