Treasurer

Gellibrand is a non-profit organisation that provides support to people with varying types of disabilities and neurological conditions living in the North & Western Regions of Melbourne. Gellibrand is currently transitioning to the NDIS and provides services for Specialised Disability Accommodation, Support Coordination, Group Activities and Individualised Supports. With a passionate and dedicated team of managers and staff, Gellibrand strives to innovate and create best practice models of support that will achieve real outcomes and encourage community engagement. The Gellibrand Committee of Management is entrusted to ensure that the organisation is soundly managed for the benefit of all its stakeholders at a governance level. The Committee of Management Treasurer will in addition to the general duties, ensure that the Committee of Management maintains the degree of financial literacy necessary to conduct the business of the organisation, oversee the organisations financial records, and with the CEO and business Manager ensure that the organisations financial control procedures are adequate and contain appropriate safeguards.
