There are currently over 4 million young people living in Australia, and Reach works with over 40,000 of them a year. We have over 250 of them working for us; designing and delivering workshops in schools and the community. Our workshops are 100% youth-led, from design through to delivery, and the community we create out of these workshops is one that allows for deeper connection, a sense of belonging, and the dispelling of judgements. A preventative, instead of having to focus on symptoms in adult life.

An exciting full-time opportunity to coordinate Reach’s Fundraising function (Individual Giving, Community Fundraising and CRM database) exists in Reach’s VIC team.
What is the role and who are you?
The Coordinator, Community Fundraising and Database is a key member of Reach’s Development team. The Development team works across corporate partnerships, community fundraising, individual giving, grants and events. This team is responsible for attracting, retaining and reporting to the stakeholders who provide funding and resources to deliver Reach’s incredible programs for young people.
You are an enthusiastic and collaborative fundraising professional with experience in community fundraising, individual giving, and / or relationship and database management. You will thrive in Reach’s youth-oriented environment and unique culture, merging your experience with your innate respect for the passion and potential of young people, to ensure a strong revenue stream for Reach. As Coordinator, Fundraising and Database you will be responsible for the acquisition and engagement or current and prospective community and individual donors to create enduring relationships and funding results for Reach. You will also be required to support the National Manager, Marketing in enabling the rollout major fundraising campaigns throughout the year with your database management and knowledge.
Some of the key selection criteria for this role are (see attached position description for full details):
- Required: Experience in fundraising and donor stewardship and / or relationship and database management
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and manage budgets
- Excellent relationship / interpersonal skills, and customer service experience
- Positive, constructive, “can do” attitude
- Very strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Passion for the nature of Reach’s work and a willingness to engage authentically with it
- Having the right to live and work in Australia.
