NICM is located on Westmead campus of Western Sydney University. 

About the role

Job Ref:  1345/18

NICM is seeking a Communications Officer to manage and coordinate the development, planning, and promotion of NICM engagement activities, and events. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand and communication campaigns. 

The successful applicant will:
 • Increase NICM’s profile as Australia’s national agency for integrative medicine research.
• Ensure effective communication of research evidence in integrative medicine, to achieve translation of robust research evidence into clinical practice. 
• Coordinate NICM’s digital marketing channels, including EDMs, newsletters, corporate website, and social platforms. 
• Create and coordinate high quality content and collateral, including corporate brochures, posters, flyers, annual reports.
• Monitor and analyse campaign based metrics. • Coordinate and manage NICM events. 

To be successful in the role, you will have:
• A sound knowledge and understanding of the research environment for integrative and complementary medicine.
• Relevant degree or post-graduate qualifications and/or equivalent significant professional experience in a communications and marketing role.
• Proven organisational, planning and project management skills.
• Proven ability to manage and monitor web-based and social media communications.
• A high level of written communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to best practice and quality service delivery.

Remuneration Package: Higher Education Worker Level 6 $93,003 to $99,724 p.a. (comprising Salary $78,589 to $84,268 p.a., plus Superannuation, plus Leave Loading)
