About the role

The newly-created role of Operations Officer at Girl Guides Victoria is a broadly defined role that looks at the operations of Girl Guides Victoria head office through the lens of the customer. Customers include; youth members and their parents/guardians, adult members and volunteers, visitors to our shop and office, online shop customers, members of the general public who enquire about our services and those who hire our facilities.
This is a varied role that includes: Working closely with, and supervising our small, dedicated customer service team; working with our volunteer Management Team to understand the needs of our customer base; and, managing special projects designed to improve the experience of our clients.
This role for someone who loves to support people to do their best work, understands how processes can impact on service and understands that improvement can come from the big – and the small – changes that we make.
