An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced graphic designer to join WWF, one of Australia’s leading conservation organisations, and help achieve our mission.  As the world faces some of the greatest changes and challenges of our time, you can be a part of helping WWF enable, empower and amplify the voices of our supporters as a unified voice for nature.

About the role

Working in a multi-disciplinary Marketing Team this hands-on role will produce end-to-end graphic design solutions across digital, print and promotional collateral. The role ensures WWF brand guidelines are maintained and provides expert design advice and creative input into campaign development to achieve exceptional and engaging supporter experiences that inspire action through the innovative use of design.  We are seeking someone who consciously works towards continual improvement of content production and leverages their design knowledge, skills and capabilities of visual communications to bring WWF’s environmental conservation messages alive.

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of digital design, with experience creating assets for websites, email and social media.
  • A track record producing consistent branded experiences across multi-channel communications.
  • Experience in producing design with a purpose, that educates, inspires and encourages action.
  • Experience in preparing materials for publication.
  • Ability to modify style for different audiences and mediums.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve quality standards within tight deadlines within a fast paced, responsive, “live” environment.
  • Experience in managing a network of third party suppliers.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a constructive member of a high performing team.

Ideally, you will have a working knowledge of After-effects and Premier, skills in HTML5 and WordPress, illustration and animation skills, image/video editing software (ie, Final Cut Pro/Premiere) and Microsoft Office Suite.  An interest in environmental conservation and sustainable development is desirable.
