About the role
- Trust and Foundation Coordinator, RMH Foundation
- Full Time Ongoing, 80 hours per fortnight including ADO
- The Royal Melbourne Hospital, City Campus
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individual to join our Foundation team.
The Trust & Foundation Coordinator provides support to the Foundation Director to execute the Trust and Foundation program and provides administrative support for the Foundation team across major fundraising activities and relationships.
Contribute to the Foundation’s annual budget, principally to the Trusts and Foundations target.
Key aspects of this role include:
- With the other members of the Foundation team, identify funding opportunities from the broadest possible range of activities undertaken by the Royal Melbourne Hospital and, working with specific departments, to package these in ways that are appropriate to the needs and interests of potential Trust & Foundations.
- Ensure that potential income sources are fully researched so that proposals can be appropriately targeted.
- Ensure that all monies and grant agreements are acknowledged in writing and entered on the Foundation database and to ensure that all monies are collected.
- Work independently to identify, cultivate, raise funds from and manage relationships with an agreed portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations.
About You:
- Demonstrated fundraising experience including an understanding of the implementation and administration of trusts and foundations programs
- Demonstrated success in generating funds from trusts and foundations
- Excellent written skills suited to preparing professional funding proposals
- Excellent interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, discretion and effective listening
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in person to a diverse audience of internal and external stakeholders
