About the role

The People & Culture Team (PaC) partner with the business through a number of functions, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Organisational Development, Employee Services, PaC Business Partnering and Work, Health and Safety. As a Talent Acquisition Consultant you will be part of the Talent Acquisition team based primarily in our Ashfield office. Our diverse team is highly engaged and driven to really make a difference to the communities we serve by delivering great talent to our business.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Our Talent Acquisition team has undergone a significant transformation to move to a paperless, efficient and value focussed service to the business with fantastic new technology to support recruitment, onboarding and building a passive talent community. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager you will be looking after a business portfolio and performing a 360 recruitment role including:

  • Meeting with the business hiring managers to pick up detailed job briefs and assist them with writing effective job descriptions
  • Writing advertisements and screening ad response to present a qualified shortlist
  • Providing advice and support for interviews including coaching on competency based interviewing
  • Managing the offer, background check and onboarding processes 

SELECTION CRITERIA

Do you have solid internal recruitment experience and a proven ability to deliver talent even in candidate tight markets? Do you enjoy working in fast paced environments? Want to get involved with some great projects?

We’re looking for someone with recruitment skills and a strong focus on innovation, to continue to help embed the Talent Acquisition Strategy. You are passionate, curious and analytical, and able to demonstrate where you have partnered with the business to become a trusted advisor on recruitment needs. Your ability to coach and challenge the business throughout the recruitment process, from conducting effective interviews, to giving great feedback, will ensure your success in this role!
