About the role
Reporting to the Fundraising Strategy & Development Manager, this newly created role is charged with developing and executing a major gifts strategy as part of a coordinated and consistent national program. Based in Brisbane, you will be a key liaison across the national framework; consulting and collaborating closely with stakeholders, including SLSF and SLSA executive teams and SLS State entities.
Additionally, you will personally manage a portfolio of new and existing prospects & donors; with responsibility for identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, moving them through the donor development cycle.
This critical role demands a professional with strong business development acumen and demonstrated success in relationship-oriented fundraising (or high value B2C services), plus a track record in achieving financial targets and revenue growth.
Your ability to effectively communicate with, influence and engage stakeholders and build meaningful, lasting relationships with clients, will be very highly regarded.
