To achieve meaningful and enduring impact, Good Shepherd intends to leverage their assets, build coalitions for impact, and continue to advocate to change systems for the better. Three newly created leadership roles are key to the success of this strategy, and will complete the Executive team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
About the role
This national role is responsible for building coalitions for impact in the areas of Economic Participation and Wellbeing, driving fresh thinking, innovation, advocacy and research in order to design and rollout new solutions to complex problems. With responsibility for identifying and developing strategies that keep women, girls and families safe, strong and connected with their communities. It will lead the delivery and innovation of the organisations services and program models in the area of Economic Wellbeing and will work jointly with the GM Safety & Resilience to ensure service integration. Providing leadership to designated locations, you will drive performance and embed innovation. In collaboration with the executive leadership team you will deliver GSANZ’s mission and strategic plan through effective change management strategies and people management expertise.
With formal qualifications in Psychology/Social Work/Social Science/Community Development or related tertiary qualifications, you will demonstrate practice expertise in the areas of economic security and financial inclusion. Exceptional leadership and change management skills are critical. You will have the capacity to design, develop and evaluate programs which focus on women’s experience. A strong understanding of the funding, governance, legislative requirements and contemporary quality frameworks operating in the sector is essential, as is the ability to build strategic partnerships and productive relationships.
