Global Chief Executive Officer

Hagar International has embarked on a period of significant organisational transformation and the new Global CEO will be responsible for driving the strategic intent, embedding the positive changes and developing future capacity. Fostering the culture of collaboration and trust, they will build a cohesive and harmonious organisation with a clear vision, strategy and unified systems.

The new CEO will be a seasoned leader, who is comfortable working in a complex matrix or federated structure, ideally within the international development sector.  Influential, charismatic and passionate, they will demonstrate empathy for cross cultural leadership, inspire others and drive good decision-making processes.  Strong commercial orientation, financial acumen and a deep understanding of modern management techniques with exceptional governance experience will be essential.  Comfortable speaking publicly, presenting and advocating for change; they will be an exceptional communicator who has built organisational brand profile, relationships and partnerships internationally.

Hagar International’s office is in the process of relocating from Cambodia to Melbourne, Australia. While the preference for base location is Melbourne, Australia, there is the opportunity to discuss other options within the global office network. There will be extensive international travel requirements for the Global CEO.
