About the role
If you are a superstar working in Disability Employment Services already, we are looking for you to join us at WISE, a leading provider in the industry. We are also looking for highly motivated and customer centric candidates from all industries who have an interest in working with people with disabilities to achieve their goals. We are currently recruiting for Employment Consultants to join our teams across Melbourne’s Inner East and South East on a full time maximum term contract basis to 30 June 2023.
We have current vacancies within the following teams:
- Richmond
- Box Hill
- Frankston
In this challenging and varied role your main focus will be:

Effectively prepare participants for employment providing support throughout job search activities, training, work experience and other activities;

Generate new business and repeat business with employers creating win-win outcomes for participants and employers;

Work closely with participants and employers ensuring high retention of participants placed in employment;

Supporting and sustaining employment for those candidates that have achieved placement, through regular contact and engagement with the candidate and employer.

Prompt and accurate collection and recording of essential information and data;

Engaging with the community providing exception customer service and support to participants.
About You
As a minimum you must demonstrate customer service experience with a commitment to a customer centric culture and community engagement. You will possess highly developed people and relationship building skills, be proactive and be a team player. You will be results driven and demonstrate the ability to achieve targets. You will display a can-do attitude and demonstrate qualities of empathy and compassion
