About the Role

About the role;
Your core function will be to advocate for the community you represent and contribute to the advancement of the school by engaging community groups, associations, the foundation and alumni for all relevant fundraising and giving activities.   You will be a strong relationship developer and enjoy engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.  Strategic experience including donor segmentation is an important building block of this role to effectively solicit and steward gifts, ask for donations and continue to develop a strong pipeline through exceptional database management.

About you?
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to demonstrate your previous successes in a similar role as well as demonstrate a strong understanding of diplomacy, objectivity and confidence in all interactions.  Fundraising experience is essential to building credibility and being able to demonstrate value with both your internal and external stakeholder groups.  Experience working within an education environment is highly desirable, as well as relevant fundraising/business qualifications.
