SVA’s Partnerships team is key to ensuring the future sustainability and growth of SVA by developing and managing our relationships with funders, including trusts and foundations, business and high net worth individuals/families. The Partnerships team actively seeks funding from supporters, works closely with senior executives to support their funding relationships and helps steward SVA’s close relationships with our philanthropic and corporate supporters.
  
The position
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an Associate Director, Partnerships to play an important role in ensuring the future sustainability and growth of SVA by strengthening SVA’s funding base through the development of lasting relationships with individual, corporate, foundation and Government supporters. Working collaboratively across all of SVA, the primary purpose of the position is to lead the development and implementation of significant Victorian based fundraising strategies and campaigns, as well as stewarding donors. This role also requires effective external relationship management with donors, corporate partners, Government Representatives and others working within the not-for-profit funding sector.
  
Who you are
This stimulating opportunity will best suit a talented fundraiser looking to apply their skills in a strategically focused organisation, to support people most in need in Australia. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional communication and relationship skills, a depth of technical capability, independent administrative skills and deep fundraising and account management experience, preferably sourcing from individual and corporate partnerships in Australia.
  
To be successful in the position you will have a proven track record in managing a wide range of philanthropy work, including the successful solicitation and stewardship of donors, trust managers and sponsors, and conducting detailed research and compelling proposal writing. You will possess an established background building and managing complex relationships, have a proven ability to work with influence and creativity, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders concurrently.
