About the organisation
Gateways Support Services is a not for profit community organisation based in Geelong specialising in supporting children and adults with intellectual disability and Autism (ASD) throughout regional Victoria and Western Region of Melbourne. Established for over 20 years, they provide and advocate for a broad range of services from high complex residential care to early intervention services. They are seeking an individual of exceptional passion and ability to lead the organisation to its next level.
About the role
Reporting to the Chair/Board of Management, you will be inspired by the opportunity to provide genuine leadership and executive management. You will have a strategic and operational grasp of the changing landscape of disability support services and associated changes under the NDIS and Quality Framework reforms.
The CEO will plan, implement and evaluate services and user engagement strategies ensuring critical milestones of high quality and service-user choice, control and flexibility are optimised. A natural leader, you will have exceptional mediation, negotiation and collaboration skills.
As CEO, you will have extensive experience in the provision of person-centred disability services and high-level knowledge and a deep understanding of policy, procedures and standards pertaining to disability services within NDIS and best practice framework.
You will be an agile leader, articulate thinker and be capable and comfortable harnessing the power of an established Leadership team and accessing the abilities of the business to bring leverage and grow business continuity. You will provide support of strategic, operational, financial and change related management to a high calibre organisation within the sector.
Proven experience in community, health and disability services and a commitment to social justice principals. Your background will include excellent business acumen, stakeholder management, and collaboration. You will be key in promoting the vision and values of Gateways.
