About the organisation
The Hunger Project’s goal is to end world hunger by 2030. Our approach is different – we see people living in hunger as the solution, not the problem. We shift the mindsets of women and men so they transform into leaders for the sustainable end of hunger. Then, through our programs such as education, microfinance, agriculture and health, we empower people with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to break the poverty cycle themselves.
Every role in THPA is in service of our work on the ground and is dedicated to transparency and accountability. We follow The Hunger Project global code of conduct. This means every staff member is conscious of ensuring that each dollar that is spent is absolutely necessary and that, as a leader, you bringing out the best in those with whom you interact.
About the role
You will join our small Communications & Partnerships team, and write, create, produce and execute all our communications (online, email, social media, reports, videos and more). You will also analyse the results of the communications, and find innovative ways to optimise our activities to better engage our community. In addition, you are responsible for project managing and delivering key campaigns and appeals, supporting our partnerships, and ultimately helping us raise our profile and fundraising in Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing global NGO with a big mission to end hunger – and to play a key role in how we present ourselves to the world, and keep alive the connection that people have to our work and impact.
