About the role

We are currently seeking a Program Manager passionate about the ‘front-end’ of the homelessness services system to join and provide leadership and support to our dedicated Initial Assessment & Planning (IAP) program. Our IAP teams deliver high-quality client-centered initial assessment, planning & prioritization responses across our Entry Point services in Collingwood, St Kilda & Cheltenham, and our various IAP Outposts. There is also a dedicated Prioritization Team who fulfil specific elements of the IAP role, and are responsible for timely allocation of resources to those assessed as most in need.

Based out of our Collingwood site, and working too across our Cheltenham & St Kilda sites, the Program Manager – IAP is responsible for providing effective leadership to the team, for ensuring all IAP services are focused on providing consistent crisis responses and planning with clients to address their immediate accommodation needs, and for the application of consistent prioritization practises to inform referral to support and housing services for clients of the IAP program.

The Program Manager – IAP is an integral part of the Getting Housing endeavour at Launch Housing and works closely with the Group Manager – Entry Points to ensure services to clients are consistent, efficient, effective, and professional and maximizes the client’s chances of getting and keeping housing.
