About the role
The Communications Officer at Girl Guides Victoria will promote Guides and Guiding across our social media and communications platforms.
The role includes creating content which is consistent with our brand and values, and supporting our volunteers across Victoria to use social media effectively.
We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in online communications who understands the way communities and individuals interact on social media. The successful candidate will also have the ability to write effectively in different styles and will be able to develop content appealing to different audiences.
This part time role (30 hours per week) is funded through grant from the Department of Health and Human Services (grant funding to 2021). The role will be offered on a contract basis, initially until the end of 2020, and later extended through the life of the grant.
This role provides a wonderful opportunity to support the girls of Victoria by promoting Guiding.
