About the organisation

Organisation Name : Act for Peace Ltd

Today, there are more refugees, asylum seekers and displaced people worldwide than at any time since World War II. That’s more than 65 million people forced to flee their homes to escape conflict and disaster.

It’s a terrible injustice. And one that we can, and must, overcome.

We believe that when people all over the world work together, big changes really are possible. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to act in partnership with other passionate people, like you, across the globe to achieve safety, justice and dignity in communities threatened by conflict and disaster. We don’t think there’s any task more important.

Since 1949 our supporters have provided food, shelter, education, healthcare and training to help the world’s most vulnerable prepare for, cope with and recover from crisis.

Together we’re tackling the root causes of injustice, and are building a brighter future for everyone. We hope that you’ll join us in this vital mission.

About the role

You’re a highly-driven, tech-savvy, experienced digital fundraiser or marketer with a track record of success. Curious and with an eye for detail, you’re looking for a broad and challenging role that’s both technical and creative, in which you can take ownership over your work and see tangible results. Most of all, you’re looking for a position that will give you the opportunity to use your digital skills to make a real difference to the lives of others.

You’ll develop, deliver, test and optimise our digital advertising and work closely with the fundraising and communications teams to distribute the content they produce across Act for Peace’s digital channels.. You’ll improve the functionality and performance of our website, organic search and email. And you’ll work with colleagues to ensure our supporter journeys are seamlessly integrated on and offline.

This hands-on role will leverage your technical and creative skills. You’ll have support from the team and vendors, and will sometimes work with consultants and agencies. You’ll measure and evaluate the performance of digital content and, informed by analytics, provide insights to your colleagues that will influence content development to make it work to its greatest potential on each platform. You’ll make sure all our digital elements look great, connect together properly and are consistent across the board.

Act for Peace already has an existing solid base of technology platforms integrated to enable scale, and we will continue to invest in, develop and grow our digital capabilities to enable rich supporter experiences. This role plays an integral part to achieving this ongoing growth.

You’ll be working with a motivated and experienced team with an ambitious marketing and communication strategy and growth targets to match – and you’ll be making a big and growing contribution to communities affected by conflict and disaster.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Sydney CBD office. The salary will be negotiated depending upon the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

Full details including detailed selection criteria can be found in the Information Pack which you can download here.
