About +SHIFT

+SHIFT, delivered in partnership with Berry Street is a therapeutic group intervention to support people who identify as women who use force in their intimate relationship(s). For the purposes of +SHIFT an intimate relationship is defined as a significant person (i.e. partner/ spouse, friend, parent, adult child/ren etc) in a person’s life and are aged 18 years and over.

+SHIFT is delivered across Western Metro Melbourne, North/ West Metro Melbourne and Ballarat.

About the Role:
• We are seeking a group facilitator who has extensive experience in delivering therapeutic group programs.
• The position ensures procedures and reporting requirements are followed whilst focusing on evidence informed service delivery, program development and improvement.
• Strong internal and external relationships and partnerships are developed and maintained and using a team approach whilst ensuring the delivery of evidence informed program to meet the needs of the client are paramount in all decision making.

Skills, Duties and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent (essential)
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the Family Violence or related sector
• Have extensive experience in delivering groups and maintaining group cohesion
• Have demonstrated experience and knowledge of the family violence sector in Victoria and more broadly Australia.
• Have extensive experience in community engagement and developing relationships with key stakeholders
• Willing to travel across three regions at times.
