- Implement successful project management practice at a large organisation that services the community
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and skilled project management specialist to lead the effective practice and delivery of major projects across the organisation. Using your strong business acumen and solid understanding of project methodology and flows, you will be responsible for developing a community of practice in project management, and assisting in the smooth delivery of projects across various divisions throughout the organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, and Information and Technology, this is a major opportunity for an outcome driven individual to make this role their own and have their work contribute to making a real difference in the community.
What do you need to bring?
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Project Management, or related fields
- High level understanding of Project Management Frameworks and methodologies
- Ability to evaluate complex business requirements
- Proven experience in business partnering at a senior level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven strengths in negotiation, collaboration, and problem-solving
- Proficiency with technologies and computer software
What can you expect to be doing?
- Support and guide project teams from initiation to execution, to deliver successful project management practice across the organisation
- Develop, maintain and publish project management policies, processes and resources
- Work with Project Managers and Senior Leaders across the organisation to build and establish a Project Management Framework
- Collaborate with stakeholders Leaders across the business and provide assistance in conducting project scoping, planning, budgeting and tracking
- Ensure cross-project dependencies, risks and conflicts are identified and managed
- Support effective decision making in the organisation by managing program management reporting
