Who we are
Social Ventures Australia (SVA) is a not-for-profit organisation that works with partners to alleviate disadvantage – towards an Australia where all people and communities thrive.
The Marketing & Communications team drives brand and client engagement marketing. The team engages with a broad audience to build awareness of SVA and support relationships with key stakeholders, including consulting clients, philanthropic funders, government, service delivery organisations, social enterprises. The team is also responsible for communicating SVA’s systems change agenda, employing the full mix of marketing and communications channels including digital, events, media, PR, social media, and collateral.
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to play an important role in providing marketing support to one of SVA’s internal client groups. For three days a week, you will support the Manager, Marketing in delivering marketing to SVA’s Consulting team, where you will provide assistance to marketing planning and activity including events, digital marketing, and traditional collateral. For the rest of the week you will provide marketing support tasks to the wider marketing team across the full mix of marketing channels, including managing SVA’s social media accounts.
Who you are
If you are passionate about marketing, have a strong eye for detail and are willing to be ‘hands on’ in a dynamic marketing environment, this is the role for you. The ideal candidate will have experience in a marketing or communications support role and have excellent organisational and administration skills to pick up several projects simultaneously. This unique role provides exposure to an interesting and rewarding work addressing disadvantage in Australia. You will join a highly committed team with a breadth of expertise in marketing and communications.
