PMCF is the philanthropic fundraising arm for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (PMCC) Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer, and one of an elite group of hospitals worldwide to have its own integrated cancer research program and laboratories. Philanthropy plays a crucial role in advancing cancer research, supporting new innovative projects and giving some of the brightest minds in cancer research the specialised technologies they need to make critical new discoveries.
About the role
Reporting to the Philanthropy and Fundraising Director, you will be working with a dynamic and highly skilled team, with a strong focus on innovation, growth and success. Your role will be responsible for leading the philanthropy team in the identification, cultivation, solicitation (written and verbal), reporting and ongoing stewardship of philanthropic individuals to ultimately drive income growth.
You will have the ability to connect donors to the mission of the organisation and ensure they are acknowledged and stewarded effectively. This is a highly collaborative position working as part of an award winning and supportive team of fundraisers who have built a strong culture of philanthropy across Peter Mac staff and stakeholders.
