Organisation Name : The LBW Trust

The LBW Trust was established in 2006, with the belief that people in the cricket-loving world can work together to level the playing field in global education. LBW stands for “Learning for a Better World”, and reflects the cricketing foundations of the organisation, and the belief that education is the pathway to a better future for disadvantaged youth (see www.lbwtrust.com.au).

Now in its thirteenth year, the Trust supports more than 2,500 students in a range of tertiary and vocational educational projects across 9 countries, with the aim to double the number of students supported over the next 5 years.

The LBW Trust raises funds through tax-deductible donations, public events, the 'Batting for Change' Big Bash initiative, 'Batting for Change' XI exhibition matches, the Batting for Change Corporate Challenge, and most recently, the establishment of the 'Women for Change’ initiative.

About the role

The LBW Trust are seeking a dedicated all-rounder to assist with all areas of Operations ahead of a very busy summer of fundraising.

Commencing at three days per week, your can-do attitude will provide support to the General Manager and Directors of the Board in all areas of charity administration. From helping to deliver events to updating our website with news stories, engaging with donors across our digital platforms and supporting commercial and community partnerships, no job will be too big or too small for the successful applicant. Ideally, you’ll have the capacity to take on more hours over summer if required.

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about making the world a better place, aligning themselves with our vision to level the global playing field in education. It also helps if you have a love of cricket or sport more broadly as there’s plenty of time spent in the stands around our events.
