About the organisation
We’re shifting the conversation about what is possible for Indigenous Australians
Aurora supports Indigenous students to realise their full academic potential – whether it is completing Year 12 or a PhD from Harvard. We walk with students throughout their entire academic journey – from high school right through to university, to postgraduate studies and on to the workforce.
This is your chance to make a real difference to the landscape of education for Indigenous Australians and transform lives through an investment in potential and life-long learning.
About the role
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, you will develop and execute a broad range of fundraising initiatives to source and secure government and philanthropic income for the Foundation. You will maintain a strong operational framework to support the fundraising strategy, building and engaging with a community of supporters, including donor recognition and hands-on, day-to-day fundraising activities.
With a strong technical understanding of contemporary income generation practices, you will bring experience in identifying, cultivating and soliciting philanthropic gifts from a variety of sources.
Applicants with similar, transferable skills are also welcome to apply.
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
