About the role
About the opportunity
The Executive Officer for Early Learning is a key senior leadership position reporting to the General Manager and providing strategic management of early learning services across Uniting.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the development and delivery of high quality and community focused programs, ensuring all programs meet funding requirements through effective planning, development and delivery of high quality, sustainable client and community focused programs. The role will provide strategic advice and support to the General Manager aiming a continuous improvement of early learning services and working in partnership with clients, the community, funding bodies and employees.
You will:
- Lead the implementation of relevant service development and improvements in partnership with clients, the community, funding bodies and employees
- Lead the delivery of a broad range of early learning services across Victoria and Tasmania
- Provide high level advice on relevant State and Federal policy directions
- Develop effective systems to ensure compliance with funding requirements
About you
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and work in a manner that influences, shapes and supports the delivery of strategic outcomes. You have extensive experience and business acumen in the management of early learning services; working closely with funding bodies and relevant stakeholders, with significant financial and risk management capability.
As a customer focused leader, you have developed, led and implemented business development initiatives, ensuring continuous service improvement.
Your extensive knowledge of Education and Care National Law and Regulation, and the Early Years Learning Framework, has expanded your skills in managing early childhood education and development programs.
You have a relevant qualification in community or human services field, business, management and/or leadership and significant experience in building and maintaining whole of organisation relationships. You will have proven experience in a large complex organisational context, with an emphasis on delivering outcomes with a focus on exemplary customer service.
