About the organisation
Equality Australia exists to create a world where we’re all equal. Our vision is a fair and inclusive Australia – which we work towards by focusing on equality for all LGBTIQ+ people and their families.
We work with LGBTIQ+ people and their families to build the power, voices and influence of our communities through partnerships, advocacy and mobilization. We harness our expertise to support and promote efforts across Australia to achieve positive legal, policy and social change, ensuring that the voices of LGBTIQ+ people on the issues that affect us are publicly heard. We do this by engaging in high level media engagement and a dynamic social media strategy to build positive campaigns which raise awareness, bring the broader community with us, and ultimately help to achieve change.
