About the role
Due to growth, our client is seeking an additional team member to join their ICT team. The role of the ICT System Analyst is to work closely with the ICT Manager to ensure effective IT systems & networks for the company’s operations; including infrastructure, hardware, software, phones, and ICT policy and procedures. System support needs to be provided for monitoring and maintaining Microsoft 365 and LINUX; office and remote users; licensed software, business systems, and databases; proprietary databases; and Websites and social media.
This role will be responsible for troubleshooting the technically complex issues and drive them through to resolution and work with the business units to solve application issues as they arise.
In addition, the ICT System Analyst will provide digital solutions to meet business needs and implement these solutions as required. The role also leads application upgrades and creates documentation and upgrade plans.
♦ Provide onsite (and remote) first response desktop and network support & troubleshooting, diagnose & solve hardware/software faults.
♦ Install and configure new machines.
♦ Set up and maintain users in Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and LDAP, Office 365, business systems, etc.
♦ Provide meeting room systems (computers, screens, phones, etc) setup and support as required.
♦ Configure user rights for various applications.
♦ Undertake Website and Intranet updates, maintenance and changes.
♦ Set up and monitor mobile devices and liaise with maintenance and service providers.
♦ Provide printer support and troubleshooting and liaison with maintenance suppliers.
♦ Assist with back up operations, security (antivirus, firewall, etc) monitoring and support.
♦ Assist with the improvement of the company’s website, intranet and other digital channels.
♦ Development and facilitation of ICT induction and training sessions for staff.
♦ Undertake regular hardware maintenance/monitoring, purchase and replace parts.
♦ Provide Spiceworks (IT Inventory & Monitoring System) support and administration.
♦ Provide ZOHO (Business system) development support and administration.
♦ Provide Office 365 support and administration.
♦ Proactive contribution to development and implementation of digital improvement strategies.
♦ Update and develop ICT policy, procedures and forms.
♦ Developing and applying specialist expertise in key competency areas identified in consultation with the ICT Manager.
