About the role
The Specialist Child Safety Investigator is responsible for leading internal investigations and case reviews to ensure the highest level of child safety within Cafs. The position is responsible for exercising relevant managerial responsibility in line with Cafs organisational goals, legislative requirements and best practice principles for these investigations and case reviews. The role will lead the development of strategies to develop and expand quality investigation processes and case reviews. This position will work closely with the Child Safety Officer, Child Safety Committee and the Programs and Services Team.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Welfare or a commensurate degree is required. Formal training in conducting investigation and/or case reviews is preferred.
Significant experience in child protection or equivalent child safety.
