We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Outreach Worker to join the Rough Sleeper Initiative team, which is aimed at assertively engaging with and supporting people sleeping rough in the inner metro. This program provides a response for people who are hard to reach, entrenched and who may have complex needs.

The Outreach Worker will work closely with a number of service providers to deliver an assertive and persistent street level approach to outreach in order to identify, engage and work with clients to achieve sustainable outcomes; primarily rapid access to housing and intensive support, to assist clients to settle into their housing.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, take accountability for their work outcomes and be able to form and maintain strong relationships; all essential ingredients to working collaboratively with clients and other organisations to achieve common goals.
