About the role
The Fit to Drive Foundation is a not for profit organisation that is dedicated to reducing road trauma in young people aged 16 to 25. The work of the Foundation is about changing attitudes and behaviours, particularly through the delivery of programs that support young people to take ownership and responsibility for their own and their peers’ safety.
We have existing partnerships and relationships with the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), VicRoads, Victoria Police, Metropolitan Fire Brigade, the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV), local government, schools and other community groups. Our goal is to continuously expand the reach of the Foundation’s activities to positively impact on more young Victorians, their communities and their road safety outcomes.
Equipped with a strong understanding of governance and experience in working to a Board, the CEO will lead a dedicated and highly skilled team to deliver on the strategic plan, ensuring management of day to day operations and performance. You will be strategic, analytical and able to demonstrate a track record in driving innovative management and service delivery outcomes, ideally in a not-for-profit environment.
Your well-developed business acumen will enable you to manage the financial viability of the Foundation as well as providing active oversight of all the governance, risk and contractual requirements of the business. Your strong ability to build productive relationships and influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders, will enable you to identify and leverage growth opportunities, with a focus on outstanding client services and outcomes.
