The Foundation, established in 1989, is a not for profit community organisation based in Melbourne's outer west whose purpose is to provide crucial positive support programs and services for at-risk young people and their families. Services include education support, sports and recreation, youth workers in schools, counselling and self-leadership development.

An exciting, challenging and motivating opportunity has arisen for an empathetic, dedicated, committed and visionary community professional to grow the Les Twentyman Foundation as CEO.
The ideal candidate will be financially astute and experienced in working with a volunteer Board; managing an organisation (17 plus staff); delivering a diverse portfolio of services; successfully raising and sourcing funds and resources to underpin the sustainability, growth and reach of services and programs; have excellent leadership, interpersonal and people management skills as well as strong networking and relationship building skills. An understanding of culturally appropriate engagement and high levels of cross-culture competence is important.
Applicants should preferably have a relevant tertiary qualification in business, community development, social work or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior role or managing a community service organisation. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated. The initial Contract term will be 3 years with an option of a further term by mutual agreement.
