About the role
The Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) has a rewarding opportunity for an Education Project Officer to join the Professional Services and Education team based in Canberra, ACT. This position is offered as a part-time contract until the 30 June 2020, with the possibility of an extension based on funding.
Reporting to the Professional Services and Education Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing projects and establishing and managing expert advisory groups and key stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a newly created, project leadership role within a well-respected centre of diabetes education and training. Ideally, based in the ADEA Canberra office, you will experience a supportive, collaborative and kind work culture.
With your direct manager working remotely, there is also an opportunity for you to be based offsite with the option to discuss flexibility in your hours.

About the organisation
The Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) is the national peak body representing health care professionals in diabetes education, management and care. They are also the regulatory body for Credentialed Diabetes Educators (CDEs).
ADEA is located in Canberra and leads and advocates for best practice in diabetes education and care nationally. As a member organisation, they provide leadership and support for health care professionals who practice within the specialty field of diabetes education and care. The majority of their membership are Credentialled Diabetes Educators.
