About the role
The Fundraising and Development Coordinator role is at the heart of Be Centre’s need to raise funds to deliver critical services to its clients. The role provides operational support with all aspects of Be Centre’s fundraising and development activities, including seeking new donors and supporting existing donors, support in writing grants and reports, researching opportunities, and support in coordinating all fundraising activities and events. We are looking for someone who is highly driven to forge a career in fundraising.
About the organisation
Be Centre is a self-funded charity providing one-to-one Play Therapy for kids aged 3–12 years. We are dedicated to early intervention, stopping cycles of harm and helping children heal from difficulties and major trauma, so they can thrive. Our mission is to provide hope and healing through Play Therapy, and to empower children who are experiencing emotional, social or behavioural difficulties, or who have been traumatised to be the best they can be.
Early intervention for child mental health services for the under 12-year-olds is currently under-funded despite alarming statistics (represented by our growing waiting list), yet the climate is right to make a huge impact by targeting larger scale funding and partnerships. To help us achieve this, we are looking for an energetic Fundraising and Development Coordinator to join our team.
