About the role
The ICT and Data Services Unit have created a new position for a part-time (22.8hrs per week) ICT and Data Team Support Officer. This new role will be responsible for providing dedicated support across the organisation with a broad range of ICT and Data service and administrative functions. The successful candidate will have an interest in technology and in helping others. The successful candidate may be new to the workforce or be experienced.
Reporting to the manager you will be responsible for providing administrative support across a broad range of organisational ICT and Data functions. Your role will include:
- Accurate and efficient hardware purchasing and asset tracking
- 1st point of contact for ICT helpdesk, for queries and internal IT concerns whilst using logic and initiative
- Helping people one-on-one to use IT more effectively
