Teams work collaboratively to offer educational information, drug and alcohol prevention programs and advocate for strong and healthy communities.
About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Evidence and Innovation which leads the creation, design and testing of new and innovative programs that are informed by evidence. As a key member of the Executive team you will contribute to the strategic development of ADF and have specific responsibility for ensuring that programs and initiatives align to strategy. Overseeing knowledge management, advocacy, program design, and development and evaluation, you will be responsible for translating evidence-informed research and identifying opportunities for new pilot programs.
This exceptional role requires a qualified (ideally post-graduate) professional with at least 5 years senior leadership experience. Excellent management skills are critical and you will demonstrate the ability to successfully deliver strategy and operational excellence by inspiring and empowering high performing multi-disciplinary teams. Extensive experience of reviewing, synthesising and translating evidence is essential. You will have successfully developed and delivered innovative programs that provide practical solutions for communities. Working collaboratively with partners and key stakeholders, you will be an influential leader with the ability to represent and negotiate to achieve impactful outcomes.
