The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is a leading advocacy organisation for people seeking asylum.  We are a value-driven organisation that strives to be part of a movement that helps people seeking asylum by providing direct services such as assistance with accommodation, food provisions, casework and legal services. We campaign and lobby with our sector to drive law reform and policy change.   

About The Role

The role of Health and Wellbeing Human Resources Partner (H&W) will be a part of a new team of 4 specialised HR Professionals. This team will act as the experts in their given HR fields and work collaboratively to support the growing organisation. The H&W Partner will possess knowledge of the OHS legislation and best practices whilst being an important driver of activities and strategies to support our teams’ well being (resilience and positive psychology best practices). They will provide a full range of HR services to ensure that the health, well-being and safety of all staff are at the forefront of people management.

About You
As an experienced, innovative, passionate and well being focused HR Advisor and/or Partner you will also possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or Business equivalent 
  • Accreditation in WHS and Return to Work with a high level understanding of these disciplines
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering effective well-being programs with measured positive employee and organisation outcomes. 
  • Ability to develop, distribute and analyze staff surveys and the respective results
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, assess complex data sets and deliver statistical reports in a meaningful way to the wider organisation 
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and engagement 
  • Proactive in knowledge and skills development in the HR space
