About the role
DV Vic is looking for a values driven, family violence and community sector specialist to join our growing team and organisation. DV Vic offers its employees:

Working closely with DV Vic management, Family Safety Victoria (FSV) and other key stakeholders, the Support and Safety Packages Statewide Coordinator (the Coordinator) will support the statewide high quality delivery of the Family Violence Flexible Support Packages (FSP) and the Personal Safety Initiative (PSI).
The Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the PSI Coordinators and the administrators of the FSP program to deliver consistent and quality services which enable victims/survivors of family violence to live safely in the community.
Through consistent and sound advocacy, the Coordinator will develop, foster and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and will have a strong capacity for self-direction and problem solving. They will be responsible for supporting service providers to deliver the PSI and FSP programs according to the Operating Guidelines and in the context of high quality case management practice. Their knowledge of service responses tailored for high risk client groups will be applied to capacity building activities across the specialist family violence service sector.
The successful candidate will have a high level of technical expertise in family violence practice responses including an understanding of the assessment of risk. They will have a comprehensive understanding of the service system, the dynamics and impact of family violence and the client group.
