About the role
Tenancy Plus workers provide assistance and support to vulnerable and disadvantaged social housing tenants to ensure they sustain their tenancy.
Identify and address underlying issues that may contribute to the risk of a tenancy breakdown which may result in homelessness.
Work within a person centered framework to identify and assess client needs, developing appropriate supports via case plans.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide a responsive and professional advocacy, support and referral service based on principles of empowerment and respect for vulnerable social housing tenants.
- Develop effective working relationships with staff of relevant government departments and community organisations.
- Work effectively within the team for administration, agency planning, funding, statistics and data
- Attend and participate in regular supervision with the Direct Line Manager to monitor workloads and ensure work plan accountability
