About the role

Working with the Head of Development and the wider fundraising team, the Gifts in Wills Manger has a vital role in building on our major fundraising program which delivers significant income for the welfare of our animals and our vision to end cruelty.

This leadership position includes developing, implementing and managing our current and future relationships with our many passionate supporters and finding way of inspiring them to realise their passions for helping animals by including a gift in their Will to RSPCA Victoria. You will also lead the implementation and promotion of our new pet legacy service, the Home Ever After program. This is a unique opportunity to drive increased levels of interest in gifts in Wills from pet owners and engage them with a powerful much-needed service.  

About you 

Your professional maturity and energy allow you to cultivate the strong interest in matching donor’s love for animals to help deliver on our organisations vision to end cruelty to animals. You will lead and contribute to the success of the wider Development team and broader organisation as a member of our Management team.

The right candidate has a minimum five years fundraising experience with proven success in relationship fundraising with a passion for Gifts in Wills. With outstanding communications skills, team leadership experience and exceptional time management, you and your team effectively manage donor expectations and provide a superior donor experience for one of Australia’s most loved and highly regarded charities.
