The Head – Gifts in Wills and Estates is a senior role within University of Melbourne Advancement (UOMA), and responsible for maximising the University’s philanthropic income from gifts in Wills (bequests). The role encompasses both the strategic development and delivery of the program and administration of all realised gifts in wills to the University.
To succeed in this post, you will possess substantial fundraising and/or relationship management experience at a senior level, preferably in bequests and estates; highly developed leadership skills; outstanding empathy and sensitivity; exemplary oral and written communication abilities; and strong analytical skills in applying metrics to programs for evaluation against best practice. The role has direct line management for a team comprising three Divisional relationship managers, and a program administrator.
