The Role:

VincentCare Victoria is seeking an appropriately-qualified person to take on the position of Manager Engagement and Coordination The role has two distinct but interrelated portfolios across Northern Community Hub. They are; – the provision of intake and assessment (‘welcoming and engagement’) and; planning (‘coordination’) with clients seeking assistance from VincentCare. The role includes;- leading the designated Access Point for Hume and Moreland in conjunction with internal and external partners and; effectively and thoroughly working with clients to achieve sustainable outcomes relevant to their individual needs. This is undertaken through the ‘initial response’ phase of service delivery.

Complementary services are provided in brief intervention and brokerage to support the provision of aligned and connected services and a pathway out of homelessness. The aim being to add value for clients in the initial phase of assistance. A feature of the engagement and coordination program is to meet clients ‘where they are at’ to connect and provide support.
