The Resilience Project delivers emotionally engaging programs to schools, sports clubs and businesses, providing practical, evidence-based, positive mental health strategies to build resilience and happiness.

We have delivered programs to over 500 schools around the country and worked with many elite sporting teams including the Australian cricket, netball and soccer teams, NRL and AFL clubs.

Through presentations, wellbeing journals, school curriculum, teacher diaries and our app, we seek to help all Australians become mentally healthy.

About the role

The Resilience Project is seeking an experienced and passionate Office & Operations Manager to join our team in Collingwood. Reporting to the General Manager, you will head all program operations and lead the administrative functions of the business with a focus on maximising operational efficiency. This is a senior, yet diverse role involving a variety of activities including sales, administration, managing program operations as well as providing administrative support to the Program Facilitators and General Manager. You will be the backbone of the organisation, supporting our mission to help all Australians to be mentally healthy.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the sales and bookings process for all programs including schools, corporate, elite sport, early childhood and digital programs

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the way the team works collaboratively with a focus on continuous improvement and streamlined operations;

  • Ensuring a commitment to quality and ‘best practice’ is demonstrated at all times so that the business is able to deliver on customer requirements and expectations;
  • Managing general operations and the administration function including work priorities, key tasks and projects;
  • In collaboration with the School Programs Manager, manage the retention process for all existing school programs from year to year;
  • Assisting with the development of proposals as well as collating supporting documentation;
  • Overseeing and maintaining CRM infrastructure and software, and identifying opportunities to utilise the CRM to enhance business efficiency and operations;
  • Assisting with the scheduling of projects and meetings and maintaining the calendar for the team; and
  • Managing business travel requirements and overseeing all merchandising requirements.

We’re looking for a values-driven person who shares our passion for mental health and wellbeing.

This is a critical management role for the organisation therefore we are looking for a minimum 5 years’ experience in Programs Operations/Senior Administration roles or similar.

Strong organisational skills will be important along with the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Well-developed long-range planning is essential as is sound decision making skills.

The successful candidate will come with experience in a customer or client service environment with high level written and interpersonal communication skills. This role would be well suited to an experienced Administration or Operations Manager or someone in a similar role looking for a new challenge in a great environment.
