The Organisation
Multiple sclerosis is the most common acquired neurological disease with more than 2.3 million people affected globally. Australia has a comparatively high incidence of multiple sclerosis and three out of four people affected are women. The average age of diagnosis is between the ages of 20 to 40 with common symptoms including unusual fatigue, visual disturbance, difficult walking, pain and altered sensations.
Multiple Sclerosis Limited (MS) is a Not for Profit organisation, and a leading source of information, advice and services for individuals living with multiple sclerosis. The main focus of the organisation is to help minimise the impact of multiple sclerosis on individual lives and provide ongoing and vital support to ensure their journey is not undertaken alone.

The Role
This position reports to the Executive Manager, Strategic Fundraising and is a member of the senior management team who meet monthly in Melbourne.
Holding the senior position in the St Leonard’s office, you will optimise returns from individual giving activities and develop team capacity. Additionally you have responsibility for:
- Leadership, development and delivery within individual giving
- Campaigns in cash giving, regular giving, gift-in-wills, lotteries, raffles and the Readathon
- Donor journey development, fundraising benchmarking and insight
Skills Required
You are a fundraising leader and data-driven direct marketer with experience managing campaigns and designing development strategies. You have a proven track record in revenue generation, good knowledge of fundraising regulation and compliance, and are familiar with engaging and supporting outsourced suppliers. You’re a natural leader who is able to cultivate a positive team culture.
