Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an experienced AOD Family Violence Advisor with qualifications that meet the Department’s AOD Minimum Qualification Strategy (MQS) requirements. Ideally, we’re looking for someone degree qualified in social work or a related community services discipline. Someone who is able to lead and influence colleagues towards best practice outcomes, problem solve and make sound decisions in light of complex situations would be well suited to this position.

What you’l l be doing
The position will provide expertise and support for workers in the AOD sector within the South East catchment, to identify and respond to family violence with their clients, whether they are experiencing family violence or perpetrating family violence.

The role of the Advisor will be to lead the team to deliver high-quality standards and integrated care, sharing your significant experience working in the family violence service system with good knowledge of the AOD sector.
